ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A Japanese media delegation met the National Security Adviser Lt. General Nasser Khan Janjua in Islamabad on Tuesday afternoon.

During the meeting, besides promotion of bilateral ties between Japan and Pakistan, overall regional security environment also came under discussion.

The national security adviser warmly welcomed the guest, and said that Pakistan attached great importance to her relations with Japan.Japanese media delegation meets General Janjua

The delegates sought Nasser Janjua’s opinion on different current issues including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), anti-terror military operation Zarb-e-Azb and Pak-Afghan relations.

Nasser Janjua briefed the Japanese media delegation on overall security perspective of the region and on the positive role Pakistan had played for maintenance of sustainable peace in the region.

The delegation is expected to visit Peshawar, Quetta, Gwadar and Karachi in this week.
