ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Saturday presided over a high level meeting at the Press Information Department (PID) in Islamabad to review arrangements made for the coverage of the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

During the meeting, the Principal Information Officer (PIO) Mian Jehangir Iqbal briefed the meeting about the arrangements made by the PID for effective display of the coverage in print, electronic and digital media.

The information minister directed the PIO to facilitate the media and ensure its effective projection.

The representatives of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) briefed the meeting on the arrangements made for the coverage of the visit in a befitting manner. The minister directed PTV to share the content with private channels also.

The Director General Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) Jamal Shah briefed the meeting on the performance of cultural troupe and instrumental music at various venues during the visit.

The meeting was attended by Special Assistant to Prime Minister Iftikhar Durrani, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Yousaf Baig Mirza, Federal Secretary Information Shafqat Jalil, PIO Mian Jehangir Iqbal and other senior officers/heads of the attached departments.
