ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Advisor to the Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui on Thursday said that India seemed perplexed and firing on the Line of Control (LoC) was result of its confusion.

He stated this during a meeting with Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Assembly Ghulam Qadir here at National History and Literary Heritage Division.

Advisor to the Prime Minister said that Indian leadership had lost its senses as India had been exposed before the world.

He said that Pakistan was fully capable to give an effective response to the irresponsible and aggressive stance.

He said that the whole nation was united and prepared for the defence of the country.

Irfan Siddiqui said that every brave soldier and officer of Pakistan Army was committed to the defence of their country.

He said that the people of Occupied Kashmir had firm determination for getting freedom from the Indian occupation.

The Indian atrocities could not stop struggle for freedom, he added.

Speaker AJK Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir said that Pakistan and Kashmiri children were also ready to fight India, adding that firing on Line of Control had exposed India.

He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif strongly presented the issue of Kashmir at the United Nations General Assembly which was commendable. Kashmiris, he added, thanked him for support extended by the government of Pakistan.
