Government of PakistanImran Khan slams Narendra Modi, calls him coward for persecuting Kashmiris

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday once again slammed his Indian Counterpart Narendra Modi, terming him a coward for subjecting innocent Kashmiris to unprecedented brutality.

In his address to a mammoth public gathering at University Ground in Muzaffarabad, Imran Khan said that only a coward person like Narendra Modi can take steps to besiege the population.

“I want to send a special message to Narendra Modi that only a coward man oppresses people the way you are doing in Kashmir,” he said adding that Narendra Modi and RSS are taking steps reminiscient of Nazi Germany.

The prime minister said that the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) including women, children, and elderly have been living under constant curfew for last 40 days. However, he added that despite all tyranny Indian government will not succeed as Kashmiris have shed the fear of death.

“The men & women, old & young of Kashmir are not afraid of you (Modi). They will not lose to your extremism,” he said.

Imran Khan said that the IOK has become an issue of humanity as a result of illegal acts taken by the Indian government. He said that he will raise the voice of Kashmir at all the international forums including the United Nationals General Assembly (UNGA) as an ambassador of Kashmiris.

“I know our youth wants to march towards the reach Line of Control. Don’t go there unless I ask you. Let me address the UN general assembly and apprise the world leaders first (about Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir) then I will tell you,” Imran Khan said.

“I won’t disappoint Kashmiris,” the prime minister said with reference to his upcoming address at UNGA in New York on September 27.

A large number of people from all walks of life including sports and showbiz personalities including Shahid Afridi, Javed Sheikh, Shaan, Humayun Saeed, Faakhir Mehmood, Shehzad Roy, Sahir Ali Bagga, Maya Ali and Hareem Farooq attended the gathering.
