ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Baligh-ur-Rehman has said that the government was taking keen interest in health and education sectors of Balochistan.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the incumbent government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had initiated many developmental projects for the uplift of Balochistan.
Inauguration of National Health Programme reflected its commitment towards the development of Balochistan as a network of roads was being constructed, he added.
The minister said it was right of every citizen to get best possible treatment and now the poor and deserving people of Balochistan could get treatment in designated public and private hospitals. About 76,000 families of Quetta district would benefit from the health programme which would be later extended to other districts, he added.
He said political stability was vital for the provision of better health and education facilities, and attracting foreign investment in the country.
