ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Member of the British Parliament Hugo Swire met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

Hugo Swire was accompanied by Sir Anwar Parvez, Lord Zameer Chaudhry, and Abdul Qadeer Hamza.

Besides, the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razzaq Dawood and the Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Syed Zubair Haider Gilani were also present during the meeting.

Later in the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the meeting of the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad to discuss the overall political and economic situation of the country.

The Federal Cabinet meeting will also review the prices of essential commodities and the steps taken to check the inflation.
