ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed Khan said that relations between Pakistan and the United States are steadily improving and recent visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Washington appeared to be a milestone in the history of Pak-US relations.
While commenting on Prime Minister of Pakistan’s recent visit to US, Faisal Javed said that Imran Khan received an extraordinary reception from the US government and the Pakistani community during the visit.
Speaking about Imran khan’s meeting with the US President Donald Trump, Senator Faisal Javed said that the meeting has conveyed a very significant message to the world especially South Asia.
Today, the Senator added, the world is not only listening to what Imran Khan says but also exploring the solutions to address complex problems we are facing collectively.
“PM Imran Khan has proved that respect can be earned globally without compromising on national interests”, he said and congratulated the prime minister at the behest of nation for his successful visit.
It is pertinent to mention that following the completion of his three-day visit to the United States, Prime Minister Imran Khan left for Pakistan on Tuesday evening.
During his visit, the prime minister had talks with the US President Donald Trump, interacted with Congressional leaders and addressed a think tank.
The prime minister also spoke to Pakistani-Americans at Capital Arena that turned out to be one of the biggest ever gatherings addressed by a Pakistani leader.
