LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chinese Consul General Zhao Shirin met with the Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore on Monday, and discussed matters of mutual interest including the promotion of Pakistan-China relations and CPEC projects.
The two dignitaries also held a discussion regarding the security of Chinese citizens and ongoing projects with China’s cooperation.

Talking to Zhao Shrin, the interior minister said that CPEC has given a new dimension to the relationship between Pakistan and China. He said that every Pakistani is proud of the enduring friendship with China.
Mohsin Naqvi said that China has always stood firm with Pakistan in the need of hour. He said that both Countries have the same position on international affairs.
Furthermore, the interior minister said that all humane measures have been taken to protect Chinese Citizens. He appreciated the cooperation of the Chinese Citizens to ensure the implementation of foolproof security arrangements chalked out for them.
