ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Executive Chairman Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding Naguib Sawiris met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday to offer investment in Pakistan especially in Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.

The Prime Minister’s Adviser on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, the Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razzak Dawood, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bokhari, the Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Syed Raza Baqir, the Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Syed Zubair Gillani, and the Chairman NPHDA Lt General (retd) Anwar Ali Haider were also present in the meeting.

The Egyptian business tycoon expressed deep interest to invest in the tourism, mining and housing sectors of Pakistan.

Naguib Sawiris has previously invested billions of dollars in Pakistan’s Telecom & Real Estate sectors.

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan also presided over a meeting of the government’s economic team in Islamabad which reviewed different economic indicators.
