ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque has said that he is well aware of the departmental issues confronted by the Country’s telecom industry, and struggling to settle these issues to stabilise investment in the IT and telecom sector.

The minister made these remarks in a meeting with the CEO Jazz Aamir Ibrahim, the CEO Telenor Irfan Wahab Khan, and Hatem Bamatraf of Ufone in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Heads of the Telecom Companies apprised the IT minister about different issues of telecom industry. They also offered thanks to him for his strong cooperation with telecom industry.

Syed Amin Ul Haque said that efforts were on to resolve the issues of telecom industry as the economic stability of the Country was linked to uplift of the telecom industry.

The minister said that we are determined to remove all bottlenecks at departmental level in order to promote investment in IT and telecom sector of Pakistan. He noted that the improvement in connectivity is linked to telecom industry.

The Additional Secretary (Incharge) Ministry of IT & Telecom Mohsin Mushtaq and Senior Officers of the Ministry were also present in the meeting.
