ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed has said that the Digital Franchise Post Offices are being set up across the Country to provide quality and affordable services to the customers.
While addressing a Ceremony at ECO Postal Staff College in Islamabad on Monday, the minister said that initially, 2,000 Digital Franchise Post Offices are being launched in February 2021 while 100,000 Franchises would be launched during the next few years.
The minister said that 10,000 people have applied for the acquisition of Digital Franchises so far.
Murad Saeed that the initiative would create at least 300,000 to 400,000 jobs in the Country and also lessen the workload on employees.
The federal minister further said that following the completion of the digitization process, E-Commerce Portal will be developed for the Electronic Money Orders.
