ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has stressed that the developing relations with Saudi Arabia is a top priority of Pakistan.
In a telephonic conversation with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Imran Khan described Saudi Arabia as a friend that Pakistan trusts, and thanked him for his efforts and support to Pakistan and its interests.
The prime minister said that Pakistan cannot forget Saudi Arabia’s constant standing in all adversities and difficult times.
In response, the Saudi Crown Prince praised the distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also lauded the efforts of the two Countries to strengthen and develop these relations in diverse fields. He also expressed the keenness of Saudi leadership to support Pakistan in all fields.
Earlier on Wednesday, the prime minister also telephoned the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed al Nahyan and discussed matters of bilateral relations and regional situation.
The prime minister said that Pakistan values its relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He said that cooperation between the Countries is of vital importance.
Imran Khan thanked the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince over releasing 700 Pakistani prisoners. He also thanked UAE for supporting Pakistan on the matter of Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
