ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday chaired a meeting to review matters related to the Economic Affairs Division (EAD).

Secretary EAD briefed the minister on the portfolios of grants and loans and apprised him of the Country Partnership Strategies of International Development Partners.

The minister was also briefed on the implementation status of the ongoing projects under the EAD’s purview.

Ishaq Dar appreciated efforts of the EAD and said progress of disbursement of foreign grants and loans for infrastructure and energy projects should be diligently monitored.

He emphasized on the timely disbursement of funds so that people could be benefited from the said project.

He urged the EAD to make all out efforts for efficient utilization of funds.

The meeting was attended by senior officials of Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs Division.
