ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has said that the Country has ample stock of urea fertilizer for the Kharif Season.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, the minister said that it has been decided to introduce toll free numbers to receive complaints regarding the urea price hike.

The federal minister said that a unified pricing mechanism will be implemented across the Country from the Rabi Season. He said that the retail price should be uniform across the Country.

Rana Tanveer said that the provinces and the companies should monitor the Urea Prices.

The minister directed the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) to check value-added urea products of Fertilizer Companies.

The representatives of Fertilizer Companies said that all manufacturing units will operate at full capacity to meet local demand of urea.
