ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the conspiracy being hatched against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will fail and those involved in this act will be exposed soon.

While addressing a news conference along with PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz in Islamabad on Wednesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that attempts are being made for another sit-in which too will meet the same fate.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report in Panama Papers Case is based on speculations and probabilities. She said that the PML-N will challenge the report in the Supreme Court of Pakistan on point to point basis.

The minister expressed the confidence that the Supreme Court will do justice with them, and reject the JIT report.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the entire nation is supporting Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, adding that there is no question of resignation of the prime minister.

The state minister said that Nawaz Sharif will remain the prime minister with the support the people of the Country.

While speaking, the PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz said that the opponents should first read the report before demanding resignation of the prime minister.

Daniyal Aziz said that there are a number of loopholes in the JIT report. He said that unverified sources have been used for compilation of the report. He said that huge funds were allocated for the investigation but the report is still incomplete.

The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
