ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Engineer Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rehman on Tuesday offered Mauritius to send its students to Pakistan for studying in Pakistani educational institutions.

In a meeting with the High Commissioner of Mauritius Rashidally Soobadar in Islamabad during which matters of mutual interest and education came under discussion, the minister said Pakistan was a peaceful Country and students from other Countries were studying in different educational institutions in Pakistan.Baligh offers Mauritius to send its students to Pakistan for study

The federal minister said Pakistan and Mauritius were enjoying cordial relations.

Baligh-Ur-Rehman said the promotion of quality education was the focus of the government. He said the quality of education was getting better in the Country.

The minister said funding for education had been increased in the Country and the enrolment had gone up. He noted that the number of out-of-school children had phenomenally decreased in the Country.

The High Commission said Mauritius highly valued its ties with Pakistan and these ties would further enhance in future. He said Pakistan had great potential in terms of resources and manpower.
