ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Law & Justice and Human Rights Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has said that on the auspicious occasion of 78th Independence Day of Pakistan, let us renew our collective resolve to build a society where rule of law and justice, equality, and human dignity are paramount.
“On the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, I extend my warm congratulations to all Pakistanis including our overseas brethren,” the minister said.
The law minister said that this day serves as a powerful reminder of the relentless determination of our forefathers, led by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who established a nation where every citizen—regardless of faith, ethnicity, or background—could live with dignity and freedom.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar said that our national flag, with green representing the Muslim majority and white symbolizing the protection of religious minorities, embodies our unwavering commitment to unity in diversity.
The minister also reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) in their rightful struggle for self-determination,” he said.
“We also strongly condemn Israel’s aggression in Gaza as a barbaric and grave violation of human rights,” he said adding that Pakistan stands in unyielding solidarity with the people of Palestine.
