WASHINGTON DC: The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb met with a delegation from the US-Pakistan Business Council on Monday in Washington DC to discuss the government’s commitment to improving the business climate in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the finance minister highlighted the government’s dedication to attracting both foreign and domestic investments in key sectors including agriculture, IT, mines & minerals, and energy.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan was also present in the meeting.
The Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb is in the United States to participate in the spring meetings of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB).
During his stay, the finance minister will meet the IMF and WB Officials.
Aurangzeb is also scheduled to hold meetings with international media and think tank representatives.
