ISLAMABD, Pakistan: The federal government on Monday announced expansion and reshuffling in its Cabinet, which also featured the return of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Asad Umar.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the former Finance Minister and the Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance Asad Umar has been appointed ass the Federal Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives.
The Special Assistant said that the Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar has been assigned the portfolio of Petroleum Ministry.
Dr Firdous said that a notification in this regard will soon be issued.
