ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad and deliberated upon overall security situation of the Country.

The two leaders also discussed the latest developments in the regional environment and the situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

They also dwelt at length on the prime minister’s forthcoming visit to Saudi Arabia and the United States to attend the 74th UN General Assembly Session in New York.

Imran Khan will leave for Saudi Arabia tomorrow (September 19) for a two-day visit, wherein he perform Umrah in Makkah and meet the Saudi leadership.

From there, he will embark on an eight-day visit to the United States from September 21-18. As per the diplomatic sources, the prime minister will travel to the US via a commercial flight and reside in PIA’s Roosevelt Hotel in New York.

The prime minister will hold sideline meetings with more than 15 Heads of States. He will also meet Bill Gates and various investors.

Imran Khan will address the UN general assembly sometime from 8:30 pm to 10 pm (PST) on September 27.
