ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. General Faiz Hamid and the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM Office Islamabad on Monday.

Overall security situation of the Country was discussed in the meeting.

Separately, the Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Aon Abbas Buppi also met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today, and presented one-year performance report of his organization to him.

Aon Abbas also gave a detailed briefing to the prime minister over Dar-ul-Ehsas Centers, which started in the current year.

The prime minister hailed the efforts of Bait-ul-Mal for the welfare and facilitation of the needy persons. He said that under the programme, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal shall provide residential accommodation and necessary facilities to over 10,000 children throughout the Country.

The managing director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal also apprised the prime minister about the medical treatment and facilities being provided by Bait-ul-Mal to the patients suffering from chronic diseases. He also brief prime minister about the Mobile App of Bait-ul- Mal and One Window Operation to facilitate the applicants.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
