ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday.

The Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. General Faiz Hamid was also present during the meeting.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to internal and external security were discussed.

Separately, Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over a meeting attended amongst others by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal.

In the meeting, the prime minister approved solarization of tube wells located in Balochistan province to facilitate the farmers and growers.

The prime minister directed the Power Division and the Balochistan government to prepare a comprehensive plan for the execution of solarization project within the given timelines.

Imran Khan said that the project will not only ensure uninterrupted power supply to the farmers but also help address the issue of losses in the Power Sector.

The prime minister noted that the people of Balochistan and the entire Country are bearing the brunt of the losses in the power sector. He directed to address the matter on priority basis.
