ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for CDA Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan has said that work on the 7th Avenue underpass and flyover will be completed in 12 months while work on IJP Road will take 18 months time.

Speaking to media persons after presiding over a meeting on the project at the 7th Avenue project site in Islamabad on Monday, he said that work on the 7th Avenue underpass has started and will be completed in a period of one year.

Ali Nawaz Awan said that that the construction of this flyover and underpass will improve the flow of traffic in Islamabad. He said that it will be a landmark project.

The special assistant said that work on IJP Road will start soon. He said that 10 kilometers long road will be completed at Rs 5 billion.

Ali Nawaz Awan said that these two projects are a gift from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to the citizens of Islamabad.

Furthermore, he said that Islamabad is changing and the Federal Capital has been recognized. He also said that there were no complaints of water in the City even at the peak of summer.
