ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government believed in serving the people and all the developmental projects initiated by his government were aimed at improving their standard of life.
Cost effective and time saving mega and small projects were implemented across the country to reshape Pakistan and empower its people to realize their true potentials, the Prime Minister added.
He was talking to National Assembly Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Chaudhry Khadim Hussain (MNA), Riazul Haq Jujj (MNA) and Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar (MNA), who separately called on him here at the Prime Minister House, said a press release.
The Prime Minister assured the parliamentarians that the government would start more projects for the uplift of the common man in addition to those which were already being completed.
The federal government’s resources would be equitably utilized for the betterment and welfare of the people, he added.
The parliamentarians apprised the Prime Minister about progress on the developmental projects currently undertaken in their respective constituencies.
They also briefed the Prime Minister on the issues pertaining to their areas.
