ISLAMABAD: The federal government is likely to raise prices of petrol by Rs1.80 per litre, light speed diesel by Rs2 per litre, light diesel by Rs2.50 per litre and kerosene oil by Rs2.85 per litre from September 01.

The sources said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will forward a summary of new oil prices to the Ministry of Petroleum for approval.

   

Moreover, apart from petrol, the government is also mulling over a proposal to increase gas price by 20 percent.
