WAZIRISTAN: Power generation has been started from Gomal Zam Dam located in South Waziristan.

Project Director of the Dam said that 17.4 megawatt power has been added to the national grid that would address the issue of electricity crises to some extent.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to formally inaugurate the project in the next few days.
