In a press release issued in Rawalpindi, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the meeting between the COAS and the German ambassador, matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.

The ISPR said that the German ambassador Ina Lepel acknowledged Pakistan army’s achievements in fight against terrorism. The envoy also appreciated Pakistan’s continued efforts for peace and stability in the region.
