Monitoring Desk: Public transportation including buses and wagons will start operations in Kyiv region from Tuesday, May 26, reports Ukrainian News Agency.

It may be mentioned that the underground Metro has already resumed operations in Kyiv.
According to a story posted by Anna Rudyk, the Acting Chairman of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Vasily Volodin informed the press that from tomorrow, May 26, the quarantine has been relaxed.

   

Vasily Volodin stated that passenger transport will run at urban, suburban, intercity, intraregional routes but with well-coordinated control and compliance with requirements.

Volodin noted that the number of passengers on renewed passenger flights should be equal to the number of seats in vehicles.

According to him, the corresponding decision was made on Monday morning at a meeting of the commission on technological and environmental safety and emergency situations.

As Ukrainian News reported, in Kharkov the metro resumed work.

Meanwhile, with the opening of the metro in Kyiv, morning traffic jams are not weakening.

Ukraine is opening in phases and with care after a complete lockdown which was clamped due to COVID-19.
