Lahore, Pakistan: A freelance journalist and writer Gul Bukhari has reportedly been picked up by unknown persons when she was on her way to a television channel for attending a live current affair show.

According to available information, the producer of the show through a twitter message informed that Gul Bukhari was picked by 5 to 6 persons driving double cabin vehicles when she was on her way to Waqt Television channel to participate in a current affair live show. The incident took place in Lahore.

Right activist and former Editor of an English daily, Beena Sarwar tweed early morning that Gul Bukhari was released and reached her home. More details are awaited from Gul Bukhari about what actually happened.
