Four injured in grenade attack in Jaffarabad

JAFFARABAD: Unknown militants riding on a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade at a shop in Jaffarabad district of restive Balochistan province on Saturday that left at least four persons injured, police said.

A police official Muhammad Ayub told media that the incident occurred in Osta Mohammad tehsil of Jaffarabad district, adding that militants sped away on their motorcycle after the attack.

The injured were shifted to Osta Muhammad hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, police reached the blast site and began an investigation into the incident.
