LAHORE, Pakistan: The third round of talks between Pakistan and India on Kartarpur Corridor is being held at the Attari border on the Indian side on Wednesday.
The Director General for South Asia and SAARC Dr Mohammad Faisal is leading the Pakistani delegation in the talks.
Earlier talking to the media persons before talks, Dr Mohammad Faisal said that Pakistan hopes for an expedited progress in the third round of talks to finalize the agreement on Kartarpur Corridor.
Dr Faisal said that Pakistan is committed to open the Kartarpur Corridor on the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak. He said that Pakistan has completed 90 percent work on the Corridor.
The director general for South Asia and SAARC said that Prime Minister Imran Khan took the initiative to facilitate the Sikh visitors. He said that the opening of Kartarpur Corridor would benefit the Indian Sikh Community to a large extent.
