SINGAPORE: The Sikh Community in Singapore organized a “Photo Exhibition” at the Main Hall of “Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha” as part of the Celebrations of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi inaugurated the exhibition in Singapore.

In the exhibition, internationally acclaimed books including “The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage: the Sikh Legacy in Pakistan” by Amardeep Singh and his photography were put on display.

The main purpose of the exhibition was to highlight the historical importance of travel undertaken by Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Pakistan, and the areas he visited, around the world.

The exhibition was organized when Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is going to inaugurate Kartarpur Corridor on November 9 to facilitate the entry of Sikh Community from India into Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Kartarpur on Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 550th birth anniversary celebrations.
