ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has wished a speedy recovery to his Pakistani Counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi who contracted the Coronavirus infection last week and has been under quarantine since then, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

“I have received with concern the news that you have tested positive for COVID-19. I wish you a speedy recovery and robust health. Looking forward to our new meetings,” said a special message from Sergey Lavrov for the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

In a twitter message on July 3, Shah Mahmood Qureshi apprised that he had felt a slight fever on Friday afternoon and immediately quarantined himself at his home. Qureshi said that he had now tested positive for COVID-19; however, he added that he would continue to carry on his official duties from his home.

The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi thanked his Russian Counterpart for extending best wishes for his early recovery.

In a twitter message on July 3, Shah Mahmood Qureshi apprised that he had felt a slight fever and immediately quarantined himself at his home.

Qureshi said that he had now tested positive for COVID-19; however, he added that he would continue to carry on his official duties from his home.
