ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has invited Japanese investors to invest in Pakistan in various fields, and assured them all possible facilities.

Talking to the Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda in a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Thursday, the minister said that there are diverse opportunities to promote Pakistan-Japan bilateral relations in agriculture, industry, low-cost housing, and environmental protection.Japanese investors - The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has invited Japanese investors to invest in Pakistan in various fields, and assured them all possible facilities. The foreign minister said that Pakistan is making all-out efforts to promote tourism in the Country. He said that Pakistan will welcome Buddhist tourists visiting their Holy Sites. Shah Mahmood Qureshi thanked the Japanese government and leadership for providing assistance to Pakistan during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In his remarks, the Japanese ambassador appreciated Pakistan's efforts for peace and stability in the region including peace in Afghanistan. The ambassador reiterated Japan's commitment to further expand its ties with Pakistan in diverse sectors.

The foreign minister said that Pakistan is making all-out efforts to promote tourism in the Country. He said that Pakistan will welcome Buddhist tourists visiting their Holy Sites.
