ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will undertake a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Wednesday to offer condolences at the sad demise of President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian along with others embraced martyrdom in a tragic helicopter crash in the Eastern Azerbaijan Province of Iran on May 19, 2024.

During his visit, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif  will be accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, and other Senior Ministers of the Federal Cabinet.

The prime minister will call on the Supreme Leader His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and meet Acting President of Iran Dr. Mohammad Mokhber to convey condolences on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan.
