ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistanis will not rest or sleep, nor acquiesce or give up, until India ceases its horrendous human rights violations in the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) and the Kashmiris achieve their legitimate right to self-determination as per the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

In his message on Defence & Martyrs Day and Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed on Friday, Qureshi said that today as we observe the Defence Day of Pakistan, we are also expressing solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

The foreign minister said that today we send a message to the Indian government that Pakistan and the Kashmiris categorically reject the illegal and unilateral actions of India in the IOJ&K.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that today we send a message that a nation that is strong enough to defend its own borders and give a befitting response to unwarranted aggression like it did in 1965 also possesses the capacity to defend the rights of the Kashmiri people.
