ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Office on Thursday summoned the Indian Charge d’Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia to register Pakistan’s strong protest over the ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC) on June 17, 2020, resulting in shahadat of four innocent civilians and serious injuries to one. 

The Indian forces resorted to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing in Bagsar and Nikial Sectors along the LoC.

Resultantly, three residents of Ratta Jabbar village including 27-year-old Razeem, 25-year-old Tehzeeb, and 13-year-old Ali Maroof were martyred while another martyr 60-year-old Rasheed Bibi belonged to Lewana Khaiter.

To register Pakistan’s protest over the incident, the Indian Charge d’Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia was summoned by Director General (South Asia & SAARC) Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad. The Indian forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons. In 2020, India has so far committed 1410 ceasefire violations, resulting in 12 shahadat and serious injuries to 102 innocent civilians.

To register Pakistan’s protest over the incident, the Indian Charge d’Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia was summoned by Director General (South Asia & SAARC) Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

The Indian forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons.

In 2020, India has so far committed 1410 ceasefire violations, resulting in 12 shahadat and serious injuries to 102 innocent civilians.
