ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on an Army Base and a Police Station in the Eastern town of Ben Guerdane in Tunisia which resulted in the loss of several lives of security personnel and innocent civilians.

“We stand by the brotherly people and the Government of Tunisia in their hour of grief and convey our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families. We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured,” a foreign office statement issued here said.

“Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestation. We are confident that Tunisia would eliminate the scourge of terrorism with its strong will and unshakable resolve,” the statement added.
