BUCHAREST, Romania: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the bilateral cooperation at the Ministry of Economy in Bucharest, Romania on Monday.

The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and the Romanian Minister for Economy Florin Spataru also witnessed the Signing Ceremony.

Earlier, both Qureshi and the Romanian economy minister held a meeting and discussed various issues of mutual interest.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Romania Dr. Zafar Iqbal also accompanied the foreign minister in the meeting.

Separately, the foreign minister also met with the Romanian MEPs, Parliamentarians, Members of Academia, and Business Stakeholders at Pakistan House in Bucharest.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi is in Romania on a two-day visit from January 9-10, 2022 to hold meetings with the Romanian leadership focusing on measures to further deepen bilateral cooperation and having wide-ranging consultations on regional and international issues.
