Islamabad, Pakistan: President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and people of Pakistan have condemned terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka and said that they stand with brotherly country in this harsh time of history.

The President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qurashi and Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan faced terrorism and lost thousands of lives and could feel the pain of people who lost their families today in multiple explosions on Easter Sunday.

According to Foreign Office of Pakistan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi telephoned Sri Lankan Prime Minster to condole and condemn terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka.

AFP news agency reported that American, British and Dutch citizens were among those who killed in the six blasts.

According to estimation, around 161 people are reportedly killed in the attack.

Curfew have been clamped in the country and social media and messaging sites have been blocked to avert panic in society.

RT Russia reported that 6  explosions in three churches and three in hotels 156 people and injured some 400.

“Most of the targets are located in or near Colombo, Sri Lanka’s largest city and commercial capital. Shortly afterwards, two more explosions were reported, one of them killing two more people. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the apparently coordinated bombings”, reported RT.
