MINSK, Belarus: The Additional Secretary (Europe) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad Dr. Muhammad Tariq met the Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei in Minsk.

The additional secretary was in Minsk for the 5th round of Bilateral Political Consultations with the Belarusian side.

Dr. Muhammad Tariq briefed the Belarusian foreign minister on deliberations held during the Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) held on July 27, 2021.

The additional secretary (Europe) underscored the commitment of Pakistan’s leadership to further broaden relations with Belarus in diverse areas including trade and investment, industry, defence, agriculture, education, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.

Moreover, the additional secretary conveyed an invitation by the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to the Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei to visit Pakistan.

The two sides expressed satisfaction at the growing bilateral cooperation and agreed to maintain this momentum across all fields of mutual interest.
