BANJUL, The Gambia: The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with the Foreign Minister of Niger Bakary Yaou Sangare in The Gambia’s Capital Banjul on the sidelines of the 15th OIC Islamic Summit.

During the meeting, the two foreign ministers discussed a range of issues, reaffirming their commitment to enhance economic cooperation and bilateral dialogue.

They agreed to strengthen coordination in the OIC framework.

Ishaq Dar appreciated Niger’s principled stance on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

Separately, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also held a meeting with the

Lord Mayor of the City of Banjul Rohey Malick Lowe, and discussed the role of women and youth in development and social progress.
