MASHHAD, Iran: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited the Shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) in Iran’s Mashhad City on Thursday.

On his arrival, the Governor Mashhad Ali Reza Razm Hosseini warmly welcomed the foreign minister.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited the Shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and made special prayers for the security of Pakistan and the unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.

In his remarks, the foreign minister said that it is an honor for him to begin his visit by visiting this holy site.

Qureshi thanked the Governor Mashhad for making the best arrangements for three million Pakistani pilgrims who visit the place annually.

The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is currently in Iran on a three-day official visit from April 20-22, 2021 as part of the regular high-level exchanges between the two Countries.
