Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad - The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited the Embassy of Kuwait in Islamabad on Friday to extend his condolence over the sad demise of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah passed away on September 29, 2020 at age 91 after ruling the Gulf State for 14 years. Qureshi recorded his impressions in the condolence book at the Kuwait Embassy. Talking to media, the foreign minister said that the Emir of Kuwait played an important role in strengthening relations between Pakistan and Kuwait. The minister said that Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy fraternal and longstanding ties. Following the demise of Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was named the new Emir of Kuwait. Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad had served as the Minister of Interior and was named Crown Prince in 2006.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited the Embassy of Kuwait in Islamabad on Friday to extend his condolence over the sad demise of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah passed away on September 29, 2020 at age 91 after ruling the Gulf State for 14 years.

Qureshi recorded his impressions in the condolence book at the Kuwait Embassy.

Talking to media, the foreign minister said that the Emir of Kuwait played an important role in strengthening the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.

The minister said that Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy fraternal and longstanding ties.

Following the demise of Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was named the new Emir of Kuwait.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad had served as the Minister of Interior and was named the Crown Prince in 2006.
