BRUSSELS, Belgium: The Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani met the Chair of European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with Countries of South Asia, MEP Nicola Procaccini in Brussels.

They discussed the emerging trends of geopolitics and agreed to strengthen Pakistan EU parliamentary linkages through frequent engagement and dialogue.

Darlie, the foreign minister held a meeting with the Secretary-General EEAS Stefano Sannino.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction at the positive trajectory of Pakistan-EU relations.

They discussed global and regional developments, and agreed to strengthen relations and further deepen cooperation in areas under the Strategic Engagement Plan (2019).

In his meeting with the EU Commissioner for Climate Action Wopke Hoekstra in Brussels, the foreign minister discussed pathways for strengthening green cooperation between Pakistan and EU.

Jalil Abbas Jilani appreciated the European Union’s support for resilient recovery following the devastating floods in 2022.
