ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour will reach Islamabad on Tuesday (today) on a four-day visit to Pakistan from March 12-15, 2019, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.
This is his first visit to Pakistan since he assumed the office as the secretary general of the Organization in August last year.
Dr. Hadi will call on the President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The ECO secretary general will also discuss issues related to ECO including cultural cooperation among ECO Member Countries, infrastructure development agenda of ECO, regional connectivity and trade liberalization with the Federal Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry; the Federal Minister for Finance Asad Umar; the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Makhdum Khusro Bakhtiar; and the Federal Minister for Communication Murad Saeed .
Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour will also meet the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Commerce, Textile and Industry Abdul Razak Dawood; and the Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Haroon Sharif.
