The Brazilian Government is in close and daily contact with civil society groups and associations that support Afghans and with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to process requests as quickly as possible and support the necessary procedures.

Numerous Afghan citizens are already in Brazilian territory, including magistrates, young Afghan photographers and their family groups.
