Monitoring Desk: Ambassador of Pakistan Raja Ali Ijaz has delivered a lecture on “Pak – Saudi Relations and Challenges both Countries Face in the Region” to the students of War Course at Saudi Command & Staff College (War Wing).
According to available information, Ambassador Raja Ali Ijaz delivered on the invitation of Commandant Major General Jadoou Rowaily. During the lecture, Ambassador highlighted the brief history of Pakistan – Saudi Arabia relations, the present status of political, economic, and security aspects, the role of Pakistani diaspora in the Kingdom, OIC, and Pakistan/Saudi Arabia, and challenges & opportunities both countries face in the 21st Century. In the end, students asked various questions pertaining to the regional situation and its impact on Pakistan – Saudi Arabia relations.
It is pertinent to mention that this was the first time a Pakistani Ambassador was invited to deliver a lecture in Saudi Command & Staff College. The lecture was scheduled just two days after the Indian Army Chief paid a visit to the College.
