BRUSSELS, Belgium: The Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with the Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing in Brussels on the sidelines of the first ever Nuclear Energy Summit.FM Ishaq Dar meets Chinese Vice Premier in Brussels

The Vice Premier Zhang and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar noted with appreciation the traditional ‘Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership’ and iron-clad friendship as an exemplary and unique relationship.

They agreed on the importance of the longstanding cooperation between Pakistan and China in civil nuclear technology.

They also agreed to further advance and expand China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to strengthen cooperation in diverse fields including Industry, Mining, and Information Technology.

Besides participating in the Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels, Ishaq Dar is also holding bilateral meetings with leaders and foreign ministers of participating Countries.

The notable figures with whom Ishaq Dar held talks on the sidelines of the Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels included the Director General International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael MarianoGrossi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Bayramov Jeyhun, and UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Almazrouel Suhail.

His participation in the Summit will contribute to further strengthening of Pakistan’s collaboration with the IAEA and developing a shared perspective on peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
