Pakistan’s High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom Dr. Mohammad Faisal met the self-exile leader Nawaz Sharif in London prior to his departure for Saudi Arabia days before his scheduled return to Pakistan, and suggested him to build a ‘solid narrative’ as soon as soon to garner people’s support in his favour, raising further eyebrows over the already alleged settlement between the convicted PML-N supremo having been declared absconder & proclaimed offender by Courts and the power circles in the Country.

Nawaz Sharif has reached Jeddah via a private flight for his planned stay in Saudi Arabia for a week before he departs for Pakistan on October 21, ending his four-year self-imposed exile.

The PML-N leader was allowed to travel to London via an air ambulance for only six weeks to seek medical treatment in November 2019; however, subsequently he didn’t comply any of the Courts’ directives to appear before them to face corruption cases, and has since then been disobeying the Courts’ orders. Resultantly, the Courts declared him an absconder and proclaimed offender.

On Wednesday, Nawaz Sharif along with his family members left London’s Heathrow Airport wherein he was bid adieu by among others the British High Commissioner Dr. Faisal.

A video went viral on social media showed that in the meeting between them at Heathrow airport, Dr. Muhammad Faisal could be clearly heard asking Nawaz Sharif that you have to come up with a much stronger narrative as soon as possible to which the latter asked him to suggest any (narrative).

Dr. Faisal then suggested him to focus on ‘economy and peaceful coexistence with neighbors’ as his political narrative in times ahead.

It’s not the first time that the High Commissioner met the convicted Nawaz Sharif – knowing that he remains disqualified for life by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and have consistently been defying Courts’ orders – as he was earlier seen as well leaving Hussain Nawaz’s Office on London after meeting with the PML-N leader.

Sources said that the meeting of Pakistan’s highest-ranking diplomatic officer with a tainted leader and who has yet to prove his innocence before Courts as he was, under a special treatment, permitted to skip the prison term four years ago and travel abroad, further strengthens the notion that he is returning to the Country following an ‘secret deal’ and the ‘guaranteed’ fourth-time premiership.

Even talking to the anchor person Adil Shahzeb in a Dawn News program, journalist Azhar Javed – who is believed to be very close to PML-N – told that the way Dr. Faisal bid farewell to Nawaz Sharif at London’s airport and the official protocol the latter received clearly indicates the future political and legal course of action in Pakistan with regard to the PML-N supremo.
